Couture Fashion Week New York: Fashion and Beyond

For the September 2012 season the Couture Fashion Week program includes not only its usual fare of fashion shows by exceptional couture and luxury designers, world-class performances, exhibits of fine art and luxury products and services, and chic after parties, but also social and international business development conferences held in partnership with the Eng Aja Eze Foundation and in collaboration with several member states of the United Nations, as well as such organizations as UNICEF, UNESCO, UN WOMEN, UNDP, UNHCR and more. In addition, the event will include a delegation of prominent Chinese officials from the private and government sectors as well as delegations from India and The Philippines, adding a vibrant international networking dimension.

Scheduled to show on the runway are prominent designers from Russia, Lebanon, Spain, Romania, India, The Philippines, and the USA, and other countries. Fashion shows will be held September 15, 16 and 17 at 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00 pm in the fabulous Grand Ballroom of New York’s Waldorf-Astoria, and will be followed by after parties each evening.

Top-notch singers, musicians and dancers are being scheduled, many with stellar international reputations, from such countries as Germany, Spain, Italy, Romania, Russia and the USA among others.
